I recommend the NC 500 tour from Rabbie’s.
Rabbie’s is a Scottish tour company that offers small group tours.
I’ve been on many of their tours in Scotland and England and they are always exceptional as they include loads of stops and the guides are extremely knowledgeable.

π Need a car for this road trip?
If you donβt have your own car, Iβd really recommend renting one β it gives you the flexibility to stop at each waterfall and explore at your own pace.
I usually use DiscoverCars to compare prices and find the best deals across different rental companies.
π Itβs really easy to use:
- Compare multiple providers in one place
- Cheaper than booking direct
- Free cancellation on most options
- Their 3rd party insurance is a lot cheaper
- They have a great customer service for claims (though I hope you won’t have to use it!

πFairy Glen Falls

π Address: Rosemarkie, Fortrose IV10 8SJ
π ΏοΈ Car park: Here (free)
π₯Ύ 2.7km there and back trail. 45 minutes
π‘ My Top Tip: Make sure to go all the way to the second waterfall and not stop at the first one. You need to take the path on the lefthand side. Please be careful on the bridges as there is no banister.
πRogie Falls

π Address: A835, Strathpeffer IV14 9EQ
π ΏοΈ Car park: Here (free)
π₯Ύ 1.5km / 1 miles – 1 hour
π‘ My Top Tip: There are two walks, the yellow one (short) and the blue one (long). I recommend starting by the blue one (from the toilet blocks) and head up so you get to the first viewpoint, then the bridge and from there you can come back via the yellow path. This is the most scenic short route.
