📍 Bowthorpe Oak (Lincolnshire) – A massive 1,000-year-old oak is the UK’s Largest Girthed Oak Tree! 🌳🏡
📍 The Flower of Kent Tree – Newton’s Apple Tree (Lincolnshire) – This apple tree in Woolsthorpe Manor is said to be the very tree under which Isaac Newton sat when he discovered the law of gravity. A must-visit for science lovers! 🍏✨
📍 The Major Oak (Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire) – The legendary Robin Hood tree, standing at around 1,000 years old, with huge twisted branches that make it one of the UK’s most famous trees. 🏹🌲
📍 Sycamore Gap Tree Memorial (Northumberland) – Famously standing alone in Hadrian’s Wall, the Sycamore Gap was the most photographed tree in the UK. Sadly, this iconic tree was felled in 2023, but its historic location is still a worthy visit. 🌿🏛️
